AAP Alleges Manish Sisodia Was Beaten By Police At Rouse Avenue Court

New Delhi: Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was allegedly beaten up by a police officer when he appeared at the Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday. When the media, already present in the court premises, asked Manish Sisodia questions on the central government’s ordinance, the police tried to stop him from speaking. When Manish Sisodia started answering questions from the media, a Delhi Police officer forcibly took him inside the courtroom by holding his neck. The Aam Aadmi Party has strongly objected to this misconduct of the police officer and held the BJP central government responsible for this.

Aam Aadmi Party National Coordinator and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Reacting strongly to this misbehavior by the police. He questioned whether the police had the right to misbehave with Manish in this way? Did the police get told to do this from above?” At the same time, Delhi Education Minister Atishi has demanded the immediate suspension of the police officer who misbehaved with Manish Sisodia.

While dragging Manish Sisodia by the neck, this police officer to please his boss forgot that the court can also take his job. The court should take cognizance of this incident.
