Haridwar: A few days ago, a video of a groom and his friend with a gun at a wedding ceremony in Pathri police station area went viral on social media.

Taking note of the video, SSP Haridwar directed strict action. Pathari police Anshul U.V., a friend of the groom. Susheel resident Zabari police station Pathari district Haridwar was arrested with a pistol from village Zabari. The police issued a challan under 81 Police Act against Muniram, a resident of Jabri police station Pathari, son of groom Sooraj. Police have also recovered a pistol from Anshul.
