Beijing: India and China have once again started a round of bilateral talks to restore their relations. India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing on Wednesday to discuss border issues and other points to bring the relations between the two countries back on track. During this, the two leaders are expected to discuss various issues including maintaining peace on the Line of Actual Control and restoring bilateral relations which have been strained for more than four years due to the military standoff in eastern Ladakh.
Doval, leading the Indian delegation, arrived here on Tuesday to participate in the 23rd round of talks of special representatives being held after a gap of five years. The last meeting was held in Delhi in 2019. The talks started at 10 am China time. During this, many issues are expected to be discussed to restore bilateral relations after the agreement reached on October 21 between the two countries regarding the withdrawal of troops and patrolling from eastern Ladakh.
Relations started improving after bilateral talks between PM Modi and Jinping

When asked about the special representative talks at a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that China is ready to resolve differences.
