A house caught fire in Subhash Nagar, no casualty

New Delhi: With the increasing heat in the capital Delhi, the graph of fire incidents is also increasing rapidly. A sudden fire broke out in a house in Subhash Nagar area on Monday late night. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire department reached the spot and started dousing the fire. Along with this, eight people trapped on the upper floor were brought down with the help of ladders. The incident took place last night around 11 pm.

The fire broke out in the lower part of the house, where the bank’s office is located. This caused panic among the people living above. Meanwhile, the firemen who reached the spot evacuated the people present on the upper floor of the house, including women and children. The fire was stopped in time and after a while the fire was completely brought under control.

A major tragedy was averted due to vigilance of local people and timely arrival of fire brigade personnel. The incident of fire happened around 12 o’clock in the night. According to information, the fire started from the electrical system in the bank which spread gradually.
