London: Many cases of the fortunes of the common man shining overnight are coming to the fore. But a British driver got lucky when he queued up to collect a food packet. As a result, he returned as a lottery winner of Rs 10 crore.

According to a report, 51-year-old driver Steve Goodwin recently stopped at a kebab shop. Since it was taking time to buy kebabs, they went to a nearby shop to buy lottery tickets. After buying the ticket, he got the number and came to know that he had won the lottery. After this there was no place for his happiness.

Steve Goodwin was in tears after winning the lottery of Rs 10.25 crore. He said that he would use the money to buy a new house and take his wife abroad. Steve’s lottery number was 73. He said that he did not expect that he would win the lottery.

Steve further told that when he started eating kebabs at home, he could not eat food amid immense happiness and started thinking that this kebab has awakened his sleeping luck. Excited, Steve falls asleep with the ticket under his pillow. Steve is still working as a driver.
