Jaipur: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Meena Samaj met Governor Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The delegation thanked and congratulated Governor Mishra for his gift to the tribal community by sanctioning the Jai Meenesh Tribal University.
Governor Mishra said that the tribal community should get maximum opportunities in terms of education. He hoped that this university would emerge as an exemplary center of study, teaching and research. He said that under the new education policy, the university should create courses that can make students self-reliant and self-confident.
When the Governor was informed that a Constitution Garden would also be constructed at the Jai Meenesh Tribal University, he appreciated it. He said that everyone talks about fundamental rights, but people should also be aware of constitutional duties. He said that the original copy of the Constitution is overshadowed by Indianism. It has beautifully incorporated images related to Indian culture including Lord Rama, Krishna, Buddha. Governor Mishra said that to connect the youth with this culture of the Constitution, a Constitution Garden has been constructed in state-funded universities and Raj Bhavan.
On this occasion, Governor’s Chief Special Officer Govindram Jaiswal, Akhil Bharatiya Meena Social and Educational Committee Kota Director R.D. The enlightened people of the society including Meena were present.
