Jalandhar: The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 15 kg of narcotics dropped by two drones from Pakistan along the international border in Punjab. A senior officer of BSF gave this information.

The first consignment of drugs was seized from Ramkot village in Amritsar. Three people came there to take such quantity of drugs, they could not take the drugs but they managed to escape.

Another quantity of drugs was seized from Kakkar village in the same district. This amount was also dropped by Pakistani drones. The total quantity of drugs seized from both the drones was 15.5 kg. On the other hand, five kg of heroin worth Rs 25 crore has been seized from the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district. In another incident, two kilos of heroin and a pistol were seized from a border village in Punjab in a joint search operation by BSF and Punjab Police.
