A bus from UP to Gujarat met with an accident in MP, five died

Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh), May 18 (Hindustan Times). A bus collided with a trolley on Maksi-Ujjain road in the district at 3.30 am on Thursday. Three passengers died on the spot. Two injured died in the hospital. More than 15 passengers injured in the accident have been taken to Ujjain. The bus was going from Madhavgarh (Uttar Pradesh) to Ahmedabad. According to the Maxi Police, the incident took place near Dongta. A case has been registered. All the dead bodies have been sent to Shajapur district hospital. There were 60 to 62 passengers in the bus. Their names are known. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police force of Tarana, Kaytha and Maksi reached the spot.

Station in-charge Gopal Singh Chauhan said that the information about the accident was received at around five in the morning. Sarada Travels bus (UP 75 AT 4799) collided with a trolley. The front part of the bus has collapsed. Some of the injured were lying on the road, while most were inside the bus. Some passengers were pulling them out. The bus was going to Ahmedabad from Uttar Pradesh.
