A blood donation camp was organized by traffic police

Jalpaiguri: A blood donation camp was organized at Binnaguri Nawapara Primary School premises on Saturday under the initiative of Canal Road Traffic Out Post. Police personnel as well as common people voluntarily donated blood in the blood donation camp. The target was to collect around 75 units of blood on this day.

Siliguri Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi, DCP Jai Tudu, ADCP Traffic Poornima Sherpa, Canal Road Traffic Out Post Incharge Buddhatamang and other police officers were present on the occasion. Siliguri Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi distributed 50 school bags to the students through the camp. and provided helmets to 25 bike riders without helmets and raincoats and umbrellas to traffic police personnel.
