Diwali could become the 12th government-recognized holiday in the US after the President signs it if the bill gets proper support in Parliament.

Significantly, recently a bill was passed in the Senate of the State of Pennsylvania to declare a holiday on Diwali. Grace Meng has appealed to all MPs to support the bill introduced in Parliament. Along with this, he thanked all the government employees who supported the bill.
