UAE visa will not be available if there is only name or surname: will be sent back from the airport
New Delhi: It is said that what is kept in a name, but with the new rule of UAE, it seems that everything is in the name. Now if you have a name then you will not get entry in UAE. Accordingly, Air India and AI Express have issued a new advisory.
The new rule has been implemented with immediate effect. Other airlines are also believed to be following suit. Air India and AI Express have issued a circular on name age appearing on passport for travel to UAE. The circular states that according to the National Advanced Information Center, the UAE’s new guidelines have been implemented immediately. According to this new rule, one name of any passport holder will not be accepted.
Any such name will be treated as INAD. INAD stands for Unacceptable Passenger. This word means not allowing this air traveler to travel to any country. Such tourists are sent back to the place from where they came.
An example has also been given in this circular. Like if someone’s name or surname is Ramesh. Now if the word Ramesh is written in front of the name it means that his surname is not written and if this word is written in the surname then it means that the name is not written. So now if Ramesh is main name and Kumar is surname then it will get approved.
This new rule will be applicable only to those holding visitor visa, visa on arrival or coming for employment or temporary visa. Not applicable for UAE residents and UAE resident card holders.
