Islamabad: Like Sri Lanka, in Pakistan too the discontent of some citizens can be seen on the streets. There are indications that a coup may happen. The general public of Pakistan is suffering the most due to the economic crisis in Pakistan. Due to the high inflation, the life of common Pakistani citizens has become hell. The prices of daily essentials and food grains are unaffordable. Clashes and stampedes break out to buy food grains at subsidized rates.
Jobs of millions of Pakistani citizens will go to Pakistan
Along with the scourge of inflation, unemployment has also reached its peak. Thousands of Pakistanis are being seen losing their jobs every day. It is predicted that in this year 2023 lakhs of people will lose their jobs. In 2023, the number of unemployed in Pakistan is expected to be 62.5 lakhs. This figure is as high as 8.5 per cent of Pakistan’s skilled workforce.
Fear of increasing crime in Pakistan
If the number of unemployed increases, then the number of crimes in Pakistan is expected to increase. To overcome this situation, the Government of Pakistan is currently refusing financial assistance from the International Monetary Fund or any other country. Even the countries which have been special friends of Pakistan are not coming forward to help. In such a situation, the Shahbaz government is going to present a mini budget. Unemployment is likely to increase further after this budget. The government will take drastic economic measures to overcome the current situation, which is likely to have a direct impact on employment.
What to do with 65 lakh unemployed youth?
Presently the population of Pakistan is 250 million. It has been told that about 65 lakh youth are unemployed. There is a possibility of increase in organized crime due to this. There is a danger to Pakistan from this, as well as there is a possibility of increasing India’s restlessness.
India will grow
In difficult Pakistan, terrorist organizations are constantly looking for youths to carry out anti-India activities. They are terrorized by showing the greed of less money. If the number of unemployed increases, many of these youth are likely to take the path of terrorism to provide for their families. It is said that there is no possibility of improvement in the economic condition of Pakistan in the year 2023. In such a situation, it is feared that border states like India and Kashmir will be at greatest risk. In the last few months, industries like refinery, clothes, iron, automobile seem to be shutting down. It is predicted that India will face this threat in future in the form of terrorism.
