According to Professor Raheel Sikander, head of gynecology at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) in Jamshoro, a Hindu woman from a remote village in Tharparkar district had gone to the local health center (RHC) in her area, but found no gynecology. was not an expert. However, this time it has come to the fore that there has been gross negligence on the part of the employees. During the operation, the paramedics cut off the baby’s head and left it in the womb. Sikander further said that on Sunday, the medical staff here started the operation of the woman, this time the staff cut off the head of the unborn child and left it in the womb. Later on, the woman’s health deteriorated.

The condition of the woman was critical. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in Mithi, but due to inadequate facilities, she was taken to LUMHS Hospital. Here the woman was operated upon and the head of the child was removed.

 

Professor Sikandar said, ‘The head of the child was stuck in the mother’s womb. There were also wound marks on the woman’s uterus. To save the woman’s life, the child’s head was surgically removed, which saved her life. The health service of Sindh has been questioned due to the negligence of the employees. Director General of Health Services Dr. Juman Bahoto has been ordered to conduct an independent inquiry into the matter.
