Iran Hijab Controversy: News Anchor refuses to interview President for refusing to wear Hijab
Anti-hijab demonstrations are going on in Iran. The women of the country have come out on the streets in protest against the hijab. This dispute is not settled yet and now a big news is coming out of Iran. Iran’s president has refused to give an interview after a news channel anchor refused to wear a hijab. According to media reports, this claim has been made by Christian Amanpour, a female journalist of CAN News Agency.
There are currently anti-hijab demonstrations by women in Iran. Women opposing the hijab are speaking out against the government in a big way. Similarly, Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi was about to be interviewed in a news program in America. However, it is reported that President Ibrahim Raisi declined to give an interview because the channel’s American female news anchor refused to wear a hijab.

Women in Iran are currently protesting against wearing the hijab. After the death of 22-year-old Mehsa Amini in police custody, women across the country became aggressive and took to the streets. Simultaneously, Mahsa started demanding justice for Amini. In such a situation, the atmosphere is getting hot day by day and now many women are opposing it by getting their hair cut and burning hijab.
