Interview canceled for refusing to wear hijab

A scheduled interview with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi was abruptly canceled after CNN journalist Christian Amanpour refused to wear a hijab. Amanpour tweeted that she was asked to wear a hijab, but the interview was canceled after she refused. He said that during the interview, the President had to discuss several incidents including the protests taking place in the country, the death of a woman in police custody.
