Shooting in New York: New York Several people were shot and killed in a supermarket in Buffalo, K.A. on Saturday afternoon. Police said a gunman has been arrested. Ten people died in a shootout at a top friendly market. Governor Kathy Hochul tweeted that she was in contact with officials about the incident at a grocery store in her hometown of Buffalo.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said the shooter had been arrested. He was wearing a helmet. He said the death toll was 10 and three people were injured. The police officer said most of the victims were black. Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said the gunman first shot four people in a supermarket parking lot, killing three of them, then went inside and continued to shoot.

Among those killed at the store was a retired police officer who worked as an armed security guard. The police commissioner said that when the police reached the spot, the shooter pointed a gun at his neck, but spoke to him and eventually surrendered.
