Indian Overseas Center inaugurated in Madagascar

Antananarivo (Madagascar), July 30 (H.S.). The Foreign Minister of Madagascar, an East African country, Richard Randriamandrato, inaugurated the Indian Diaspora Center ‘Indian Dhow’ in Antananarivo on Friday. The center showcases the journey of Indian diaspora to Madagascar and their struggles, achievements and contributions.

The Indian Embassy in Madagascar has said that the Indian expatriate, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps besides Handicrafts Minister Sophie Ratsirka and high government officials were present on the occasion. Among them are Indian Ambassador Abhay Kumar and Vision Madagascar President Juzar Bouka.

On this occasion, Bouka said- ‘I had this idea for a long time that I should build something in Madagascar, which is connected to my native country India. I would especially like to thank Ambassador Abhay Kumar, who has encouraged me.
