It was eight o’clock in the morning and the Japanese city of Hiroshima was suddenly attacked with an atomic bomb. After this bomb blast, the temperature rose so much that many people got burnt. In one minute, 80 percent of the city of Hiroshima was burnt to ashes.
This was the world’s first nuclear attack. The devastation did not stop here. Of those who survived, thousands died from diseases associated with nuclear radiation. A study showed that the bomb caused black rain in an area of 29 km. This led to death and this black rain contaminated everything that came in contact with him.
The name of this bomb with a capacity of 20 thousand tons was Little Boy. The main purpose of the attack on Hiroshima was to avenge the attack on the US naval base at Pearl Harbor. After which World War II was declared. Just three days later, on August 9, a nuclear attack was carried out on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.
