A massive fire broke out at a nightclub in Thailand on Friday. 40 people died and 10 people got scorched due to the fire. The nightclub fire incident took place in Sattahip district of Chonburi province. It is located in the southeast of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

According to Police Colonel Wutipong Somjai, the fire broke out at the Mountain Bee nightclub around 1 pm. Most of the dead are said to be Thai citizens. The Bangkok Post, citing the Sawang Roznathamsthan Foundation, which was involved in relief and rescue operations, reported that 40 people died in the burns.

According to police officials, there was a huge crowd in the nightclub when the fire broke out. This nightclub was quite popular among Indian tourists. This nightclub was very famous. A large number of Indian tourists also used to come here.

In the video of the fire that went viral on social media, people are seen running towards a safe place. People were seen screaming to save their lives. The cause of the fire is not yet known. 150 firefighters joined by more than three fire helicopters to douse the fire
