Fierce fire in 21-storey building in Urumqi, China, 10 killed, 9 injured

A major accident has taken place in Uigarh of Xinjiang, China. A fire broke out on Thursday night at a 21-storey residential building in the capital Urumqi. The fire was so fierce that 10 people died and 9 were injured.

Those injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. All the people are being treated. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot. At present, the exact cause of the fire is being ascertained.

Earlier on November 22, about 36 people had died in a fire in central China’s Henan province. The incident happened at a factory in Anyang city and two people were injured. Following the incident, fire brigade teams sent 63 vehicles to the spot. The fire was brought under control after a lot of effort.
