America imposes sanctions on Putin’s girlfriend Alina
Washington, August 03 (H.S.). The US has frozen the assets of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s girlfriend and former gymnast Alina Kabaeva (39) amid the Russo-Ukraine war.
Alina is a former Olympic gymnast as well as a former member of the State Duma (the lower house of the Russian parliament). Kabaeva is also the head of a Russian media company. She is a supporter of Russian invasion of Ukraine. Putin’s critic Alexei Navalny has long been demanding sanctions against Kabaeva. Navalni is currently in jail.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago it was discussed that Russian President Vladimir Putin could once again become a father and the mother of this child would be his girlfriend Alina.
The US Treasury Department has also imposed sanctions on Andrey Grigoryevich Gurev. He is the owner of Wittenhurst Estate. The 25-room Wittenhurst Estate is the second largest palace in London after Buckingham Palace. Along with this, restrictions have also been imposed on his yacht of $ 120 million.
Earlier in April, the US imposed sanctions on both Putin’s daughters-Katrina Vladimirovna Tikhonova and Maria Vladimirovna Vorontsova. Both of them are children of Putin’s ex-wife Nudmila.
