14 killed in massive fire at night music club in Thailand

A massive fire broke out at a nightclub in Thailand’s eastern province of Chonburi. In this 14 people died. 38 people were seriously burned. Firefighters and police launched a rescue operation and evacuated several tourists. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

A massive fire broke out at midnight at Myten Bee, a nightclub in the Sattahip district of Thailand’s Chonburi province. A fire brigade team worked throughout the night to douse the fire. The tourists trapped in the nightclub were pulled out of the nightclub. The people caught in the fire shouted and ran. The video of that incident had gone viral on social media.

Police officer Attasit Kizzahan said that an investigation has been started into the cause of the fire. A nightclub caught fire. The fire started at 1 pm. Within an hour the entire nightclub was engulfed in flames. Forensic team has recovered evidence of fire incident. Some people said that the fire first started behind the stage. Before people could understand anything, the whole stage was burning.

All of the dead are Thai citizens. Some foreign tourists are expected to be among the injured, but it is not yet clear which civilians were injured. Police said the nightclub is famous for its nightlife in the eastern province. The entire nightclub was packed at the time of the incident.
