Sarfaraz, a 12-year-old student of Godda, has exposed the plight of the school by becoming a journalist. Sarfaraz’s video is going viral on social media. In which Sarfaraz, a student of Bhikhiyachak Primary School in Mahagama, is seen reporting to the school with a stick and a plastic bottle as a microphone.

In the video, Sarfaraz is saying that now I am telling you the condition of a beggar of a primary school in the village. In the video, Sarfaraz is seen answering questions to his friend. The teacher is absent from the school. Fodder has grown in the premises. There is no provision for drinking water or toilets. The feed is kept in the classroom.

School cleaning after video went viral

After the video went viral, cleanliness has been done in the school premises. Also, Godda’s DSE Rajni Devi has recommended the sacking of two teachers of Bhikhiyachak Primary School.

Sarfaraz was threatened

Villagers say that the condition of the school is very bad. The children could not be educated. It is good if the situation changes with the courage of this child. However, Sarfaraz, a student who informed about the matter, said that after the video went viral, the teachers also threatened him by visiting his house. Sarfaraz says that the teachers told my mother to keep your boy safe or else the result will not be good.

What did the village head say?

Bhikhiyachak Primary School is located in Saria Panchayat, Panchayat head MD Habib said that the condition of the school is bad, when he went a few days ago, he saw bushes there. I’m still new to this so I didn’t complain but now I’ll look at it my way and try to improve further. Mahagama BEO Hariprasad Thakur said that Abhiyan Vidyalaya was opened here and there was a provision to provide 2 teachers in each Abhiyan Vidyalaya. Under him there were given 2 teachers. Both the teachers are from the same village.

Children are not getting mid-day meal since many days

The mid-day meal remained closed for several days and was neglected. There was no cleanliness at all. The situation has improved since the video went viral. Both the teachers Mohd Rafiq and Mohd Tamizuddin have been written to take action today and DSE Rajni Devi has also recommended the same. Mahagama BDO Praveen Chaudhary told that SDO and BEO had gone together at the time of opening of the school.
