Amreli: Lion cub hit by passenger train near Chalala, 3 other cubs rescued

Amreli (Amreli), Gir (Gir Forest) and Dhari forest area When the lions were grazing, sometimes there were accidents with the lions. Three other lions were saved in this incident. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the staff of the forest department including DCF Jayan Patel of Palitana Shatrunji division reached the spot. According to forest department officials, this lion cub was 6-7 months old.

After this accident, the passenger train going from Junagadh to Amreli was stopped there for one and a half hours. The Forest Department questioned the pilot and other employees of the train. It is worth noting that in the past too, there have been incidents of lions being killed by being hit by a train or falling into a well. Such incidents happen when the lion in the dark does not know what is next.

A few days ago a lion had died while drinking alcohol in the well.

Recently a lion also died after drinking alcohol in the well. The Girnar forest of Junagadh district received more than 7 inches of rain on the night of 12 September. A lioness got trapped in a stream of water due to heavy rain in the Girnar forest. When there was a flood in the Lol river, the lioness was dragged into the water and reached the village of Derawan. The lioness has died after being trapped in the water. The incident took place in the northern range of Girnar. The Forest Department has also confirmed that the lioness died due to drowning. The dead body of the lioness has been taken over by the Forest Department from Derawan village.

A lion fell into a well in search of prey

On the other hand, an incident has come to the fore in Girsomnath where the lion king of the jungle was lying in a well. Which the forest department has pulled out after hours of effort. The incident is from Khilwad village of Girgadda. Where the lion jumped into the well in the dark of night in search of prey. So the lioness, who was earlier declared mentally unstable, died a natural death.
