Prayagraj: Another CCTV footage related to the Umesh Pal murder case has come to the fore. In the footage, constable Raghavendra Guddu, who was injured in the Muslim bomb attack, is seen lying on the ground covered in blood. Meanwhile, due to the explosion of the bomb, there is an atmosphere of panic among the people around.

After the bomb blast, people around are seen picking up constable Raghavendra and the shooters. The soldier’s right hand was completely injured by the bomb attack. In the footage, Umesh Paul’s wife is also seen leaving the house.

What was the conspiracy behind the murder?

According to the police, the Mesh Pal mafia was continuously arguing against Atiq Ahmed in the court in many cases. This is the reason why in a fit of rage, Atiq is determined to get Ahmed out of the way forever. The same facts have also come to the fore in the preliminary investigation of the police. But whatever it was, either a bad deal between Umesh and Ateeq became the main cause of this reprehensible incident, or Ateeq showed courage to maintain his supremacy. So far the picture has not been completely clear regarding this.

The CBI did not make Umesh Pal its witness in the MLA Raju Pal case. The police had made Umesh Pal a witness, but he refused to appear in the court. That is why the CBI considered him unreliable and did not include him in the witness list.

Umesh Pal had filed a case in 2006 as well

In such a situation, the Ateeq gang did not get any benefit from driving Umesh Pal in this case. In 2006, Umesh Pal had registered a case of his kidnapping at Dhumanganj police station in Prayagraj, in which 5 named accused including Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf are named. In this case, the testimony of both the parties has been completed.

Atiq Ahmed’s side had demanded re-examination of two prosecution witnesses, which was accepted by the MP-Legislative Court. The government had gone to the High Court against this. Atiq’s side had also filed a petition in the High Court demanding hearing of 50 more witnesses on its behalf. The High Court had refused to re-examine two prosecution witnesses and to hear other prosecution witnesses.

This was a huge blow for the Ateeq side and even Umesh Pal knew that the Ateeq side would go to the Supreme Court. Due to this concern, he has already filed a caveat in the Supreme Court. Later, the extremists did not get relief even after reaching the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had also directed to complete the trial in six weeks. In this case, the accused can be punished with imprisonment for life or ten years of labor and fine.
