five projects of gida will shine
Gorakhpur, 23 September (His). Five projects of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) will get financial assistance of Rs 177 crore from PM Gati Shakti in the current financial year. The Screening Committee of the Annual Action Plan has been approved by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India. This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary Logistics, Department of Industry and Commerce, Government of India.
Under PM Gati Shakti, funds have been sanctioned for a total of 16 projects worth Rs 4559.83 crore of four Industrial Development Authority (GIDA, NOIDA, IDA and G-NEEDA) in Uttar Pradesh including GIDA. This assistance amount is Rs 1068.79 crore. It also includes 5 projects of GIDA.
A project worth Rs 100 crore has been prepared by GIDA for the development of Bhiti Rawat Industrial Area Sector 26 including Garment Park. For this, assistance of Rs 70 crore has been approved in the financial year 2022-23 from PM Gati Shakti. Similarly, assistance of Rs.80 crore for Industrial Corridor (Bhagwanpur-Narkatha) with a project cost of Rs.100 crore and Rs.12 crore for plastic park project of Rs.69.58 crore has been approved in the current financial year.
10 crore for flatted factory complex to be built to make readymade garment hub and Rs. 5 crore for Common Inflate Treatment Plant (CETP) at Gida in the financial year 2022-23 will get assistance from PM Gat Shakti.
