Yogi Adityanath, who holds the record of being the Chief Minister for the longest time in Uttar Pradesh, has also become the Chief Minister who has visited Varanasi, the city of Mahadev, for the maximum number of times. Yogi Adityanath, who came to visit Baba Vishwanath on the second day of his visit to Kashi, performed Shatayu Pujan in the Kashi Vishwanath temple as Chief Minister. Apart from this, CM Yogi also reviewed the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on March 24. Also inquired about the progress of construction work in Varanasi.
Every devotee who comes to Kashi, the city of Mahadev, worships Shrikashi Vishwanath, but Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has created a unique record in his name. When he visited Baba Vishwanath in Kashi on Saturday, he became the first chief minister to visit the Vishwanath temple for the hundredth time. Whenever Yogi used to come to Kashi during his tenure, he would definitely be present in the court of Baba Vishwanath. Yogi Adityanath offered prayers with the devotees in the temple according to the Shodashopachar method.
Yogis reach Kashi on an average every 21 days
Yogi Adityanath has visited Varanasi 113 times since becoming the Chief Minister in 2017. Apart from his meeting and inspection works, he has worshiped Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham every time, making it a unique record in the name of the CM of UP.
Kashi is the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister also comes here and in the last few years development works have picked up pace here. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits Kashi once or twice a month. Whenever Yogi comes to Kashi, he reviews and inspects the development works. Every time after having darshan of Mahadev, they reach Kashi Vishwanath temple for worship.
CM Yogi visits Kashi Vishwanath temple on an average every 21 days. In the first term, the construction work of Kashi Corridor was going on. In such a situation, Yogi has visited Varanasi many times and reviewed the progress of the works. Since becoming the Chief Minister in 2017, Yogi had visited Shri Kashi Vishwanath a total of 74 times till March 2022. CM Yogi Adityanath performed Shodshopachar worship of Baba Vishwanath and anointed with Rudra Sukta.
