Yogi Adityanath has visited Varanasi 113 times since becoming the Chief Minister in 2017. Apart from his meeting and inspection works, he has worshiped Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham every time, making it a unique record in the name of the CM of UP.

Kashi is the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister also comes here and in the last few years development works have picked up pace here. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits Kashi once or twice a month. Whenever Yogi comes to Kashi, he reviews and inspects the development works. Every time after having darshan of Mahadev, they reach Kashi Vishwanath temple for worship.

CM Yogi visits Kashi Vishwanath temple on an average every 21 days. In the first term, the construction work of Kashi Corridor was going on. In such a situation, Yogi has visited Varanasi many times and reviewed the progress of the works. Since becoming the Chief Minister in 2017, Yogi had visited Shri Kashi Vishwanath a total of 74 times till March 2022. CM Yogi Adityanath performed Shodshopachar worship of Baba Vishwanath and anointed with Rudra Sukta.
