The MLA handed over the money received from the Vietnamese delegation to the director
Kushinagar, May 14 (H.S.). On Saturday, the amount of 1000 US dollars received from the delegation of Vietnam, which came by special aircraft at the international airport, was handed over to the airport administration. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, MLA PN Pathak handed over the funds to Director AK Dwivedi. This money will be spent on airport development. District Magistrate S Rajalingam and Joint Magistrate Purna Bora were also present on the occasion.
The Vietnamese delegation arrived on 27 March. The delegation was welcomed by MLA Pathak as a representative of the state government. The delegation had given the said amount to the MLA. When the MLA wanted to hand over the money to the Chief Minister, apprehending the sentiments of the Buddhist party, he instructed to give it to the airport administration. In this order the amount was given to the Director. The MLA said that the way for foreign tourists to come to Kushinagar is being made by air. Soon regular international flights will start from here.
