The search for two students who drowned in the Rapti river passing near Badghan under Gida police station area of ​​Gorakhpur late on Tuesday evening continues for the second day. Their search has been started since Wednesday morning. Their search continued till Tuesday night, but the students could not be traced. So their search was called off. The five students who went to the bath were from Tahira College in Gida, out of which two drowned in the Rapti river. Three were saved by the villagers.

Five students of the college, 22 year old Aftab Raza son Sikander Ali resident Bhainsa Bazar police station Bansgaon, 23 year old Pawan Majhwar son Ram Kripal resident Pipri Gida, 23 year old Devendra Pratap son Jagdish resident Ekwa police station Khajni, 21 year old Ashwani Majhwar son Lakshmi Narayan resident Anandnagar police station Farenda , District Maharajganj had gone to bathe in Rapti river located near Badghan village at 5 pm on Tuesday. The five students went into deep water while taking a bath and started drowning. Seeing the students drowning, villagers present at a distance jumped into the river and pulled three students out of the water, but two students Aftab Raza and Pawan Majhwar could not be traced. Their search has started again from Wednesday morning. They could not be traced till the time of writing this news.
