Ram Mandir: A unique example of caste harmony has come to the fore in Telangana. The Sarpanch of a village in Khammam district built a grand temple of Lord Rama. The Muslim sarpanch has built a temple of Ram in Budidampadu village of Raghunadpalam mandal at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. This work of Muslim Sarpanch is being praised everywhere. Shaikh Meera Saheb, Sarpanch of Budidampadu village personally donated Rs 25 lakh for the construction of Shri Ram Mandir, while the remaining Rs 25 lakh was donated for the construction of Ram Mandir.

Unique example of ethnic harmony

In Budidampadu village of Raghunadpalam mandal of Khammam district, the Muslim sarpanch Sheikh Meera Saheb had built a temple of Ram at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. The construction of Ramalaya in Budidampadu village was going on for many years and despite many efforts it could not be completed. Sarpanch Sheikh Meera took the initiative after many big people failed in the construction of Ramalaya.

Muslim Sarpanch gave Rs 25 lakh for the temple

 

Shaikh Meera Sahab, the Sarpanch of Budidampadu village, took the responsibility of building the temple and decided to donate Rs 25 lakh. He persuaded three tribal brothers to donate the land and build the temple with their own money and around Rs 50 lakh donated by others. The Sheikh himself worships in temples and churches and is reminded that the Nizam built an ancient temple of Rama at Bhadrachalam. People are now praising Sheikh Meera, who worked for communal harmony.
