Police commissioner system will give priority to smart policing: Yogi

Lucknow, 25 November (Hindustan Times). Many important proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting of the Yogi government on Friday. Police commissioner system has been implemented in three more cities of UP, Agra, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj. The Chief Minister has congratulated by tweeting about the commissionerate system starting in three cities of the state. He said that this would help in the priorities of excellent law and order, smart policing and police reforms.

Chief Minister Yogi posted from his official Twitter account on the implementation of Police Commissioner system in three more districts of the state regarding law and order in the UP cabinet. It was said in the post that now the police commissionerate system will be implemented in the districts of Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj. Excellent law and order, smart policing and police reforms are top priorities of your government. Surely this decision will prove helpful in fulfilling these priorities. It is notable that the cabinet meeting was held at Lok Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi on Friday. In which the decision to implement the Police Commissioner system in Agra, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj has been stamped.
