Park for dogs will be built by spending 5.06 crores: Avanindra
Lucknow, June 22 (H.C.). Lucknow Development Authority’s Executive Engineer Avanindra Kumar Singh said that in the CG City scheme of Lucknow, three acres of land from the Green Park is going to be developed to develop a dog park. For this an expenditure of five crore six lakh rupees will have to be borne, for this the authority is ready.
He told that the park to be built for dogs will be named as Swan Park. In this, facilities for walking, roaming, playing, bathing in water will be taken care of. Even a place for dogs to go to the toilet in the park will be identified and developed. Along with this, a food court will also be made, so that there is no inconvenience for the dogs to eat and drink.
He said that an action plan is being prepared for Swan Park under the supervision of Vice-Chairman of the Authority, Akshay Tripathi. This work will start after the planning is done. So that a gift can be given to the people who are sensitive about dogs in the city. This is also an answer for those who object to walking dogs in general parks, which will have a separate park for walking dogs.
