Our priority is to provide facilities to common citizens: Yogi Adityanath
Lucknow, 23 September (H.C.). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that providing facilities to common citizens is our priority. Uttar Pradesh is developing rapidly under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The evidence of the efforts which started within the last five years is in front of everyone.
Addressing the ‘National Urban Planning and Management Conclave’ organized at Indira Gandhi Foundation, the Chief Minister said that rural economy has been our basis. We have also started efforts in this direction. We worked to transform both rural and urban areas. In Uttar Pradesh, more rural areas have developed than cities.
Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh also has an important role for the Prime Minister’s resolution of trillion economy, for this the most important is urban development. In order to achieve the goal of self-reliance, efforts have been made in both rural areas and urban areas, in the last five years, more than 100 urban bodies have been formed.
The Chief Minister said that under the Smart City Mission, a State Smart City plan was prepared and taken forward. Land mafia is generated even before development takes place in the city, if we avoid them at the initial stage itself, then the problem will go away. At the same time, when it comes to public transport in the country, the maximum public transport in the country is running in five cities, Uttar Pradesh, it is being built in Agra.
