On the assurance of the Central Labor Commissioner, the nationwide bank strike of 27 June postponed
Lucknow, June 24 (H.S.). The United Forum of Bank Unions, agitating for five-point demands in the country and the state, has postponed the nationwide bank strike of June 27 on the assurance received after the talks between the Central Labor Commissioner and the Indian Banks Association. The Indian Banks Association will hold talks again on July 1, in which important decisions can be taken on all five points.
State media in-charge of United Forum of Bank Unions Anil said that on the initiative of the Central Labor Commissioner, the second round of talks were held between the officials of Indian Banks Association (IBA) and United Forum of Bank Unions. After the failure of the first round, there were positive talks on some points in the second round of talks. Due to which there is hope for the resolution of the pending matter.
He said that the next talks would be held on July 1 and important points would be discussed in it. It is believed that on the initiative of the Central Labor Commissioner, an important situation will be created regarding the five-point demands. In general, if the talks are successful, then an important decision will also be taken in favor of the bank employees. Surely this will be a negotiation.
