BSP has opened its cards for the election of the Vice President. Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati announced that the BSP will support Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar in the vice-presidential election. Mayawati herself tweeted this information. Mayawati’s BSP also supported NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu in the presidential election.

Mayawati tweeted, ‘It is well known that due to lack of consensus between the ruling party and the opposition in the election of the highest Presidential post of the country, the re-election was conducted for this purpose. Now due to this situation, the election for the post of Vice President is also going to be held on 6th August. In view of the wider public interest and his agitation, I have decided to support Jagdeep Dhankhar in the election for the post of Vice President and today I am also making a formal announcement about it.

 

 

Support to NDA in Presidential election

During the presidential election, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati held a press conference and declared her support for NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu. He said that we have decided to support NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. We have taken this decision neither in support of BJP or NDA nor against opposition but keeping in mind our party and movement.
