Mayawati on Mohan Bhagwat’s madrassa visit: Will your negative attitude towards Muslims change?
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has once again targeted BJP and RSS. He took a jibe at the Sangh Parivar after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visited a mosque yesterday. Mayawati tweeted and said that the Yogi government is not able to tolerate Namaz in the open. Will there be any change in the ‘negative attitude’ of the BJP and its governments towards Muslims after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visits a mosque and madrasa in Delhi?
Extending his reach to the Muslim community, the RSS chief had on Thursday visited a mosque and a madrasa in Delhi and held discussions with All India Imam Sangathan chief Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, who called him the ‘Father of the Nation’. BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted, “RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visited a mosque/madrasa in Delhi yesterday and met Ulemas and then called himself ‘Rashtra Pita’ (Father of the Nation) and ‘Sage of the Nation’. Change in the negative attitude and behavior of BJP and its governments towards Muslim society and their Masjid-Madrasas?
Mayawati targets Yogi government
In another tweet, Mayawati took a jibe at Yogi Adityanath’s government. He tweeted in Hindi and said, ‘The UP government is unable to bear the compulsion to offer Namaz alone for a few minutes in the open and is bent on interfering in the working of private madrasas, ignoring the government madrasas. But what is being taken out of the deep silence of the RSS chief on this issue also needs to be considered.
Mohan Bhagwat at Madrasa
It is worth noting that on Thursday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat met Dr. Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, the head of the All India Imam Sangathan in New Delhi. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reached his office at Masjid on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in Delhi on Thursday to meet Imam Ilyasi. After reaching the Masjid, he reached Madrasa Tajweedul Quran in Old Delhi and met the children of Madrasas. During his visit to the madrasa, Bhagwat interacted with the children and heard them reciting the Quran. The officials said that the children raised slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jai Hind’. After Bhagwat went to mosques and madrasas, politics intensified across the country.
