Uttar Pradesh News: Uttar Pradesh A laborer in Kannauj suddenly became a billionaire for a few hours. Bihari Lal (45), a laborer working at a brick kiln in Rajasthan, withdrew Rs 100 from the Jan Dhan account of Bank of India from a public service center in his village. Minutes later, he received an SMS showing the balance amount of Rs 2,700 crore in his account.

It was believed that he is at his native place in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, as the brick-kilns were closed due to the monsoon season. When Bihari Lal was not convinced, he went to a bank friend. He checked the account and confirmed that the balance in his account was Rs 2,700 crore.

While talking to the media, Bihari Lal said that ‘Then I asked him to check his account again, after which he checked thrice. When I could not believe it, he took out the bank statement and showed it to me. I saw that I have Rs 2,700 crore in my account.

But his happiness lasted only a few hours, because when he reached the bank branch to check his account, he found that the balance was only Rs 126. The bank’s chief district manager Abhishek Sinha then told reporters that the account was checked and there was only Rs 126 in it.

Bihari Lal works as a laborer in a brick kiln in Rajasthan and earns 600 to 800 rupees per day, but now he is not earning that much because the brick kiln is closed during the rainy season.
