Kashi’s huge Bhandara will be held in Chandanwadi for Amarnath pilgrims
Varanasi, 23 June (H.S.). For the service of Amarnath pilgrims, a huge Bhandara will be organized in Chandan Bari, Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti. Banarasi Thandai, Poori, Jalebi, Dal, Rice, Pavbhaji, Idli, Masal Dosa, besides blankets, shoes, stockings, masks, caps, sweaters, sal will be available to the passengers in the committee’s camp.
This information was given by the chairman of the committee, social worker Dilip Singh Bunty to the journalists on Thursday. In the office located at Chowk, Dilip Singh said that for the last two years, the Amarnath Yatra was closed due to the Corona epidemic. Now when the yatra starts, a batch of sevadars of the committee is leaving for Jammu and Kashmir. The Sewadars will continue to serve the pilgrims by setting up a camp at Chandanbadi for the month of Sawan.
Bunty Singh said that the first batch reached the spot and started the work of setting up the camp. He estimated that this time Chandan Bari will visit Kashmir three times more than before. Many people of Banaras are facing the problem of travel permit. Medical is also being done from Ramnagar Hospital. Travel permit is also not getting on the due date.
He said that arrangements have been made to accommodate 300 passengers in the camp. Baba Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has given permission to sleep only 50 passengers. This time we have faced a lot of difficulties in getting the service card of our Bhandara. Everyone had to get police verification done, had to get medical done with Kovid test. He told that 36 km journey from Chandan Bari Padav is left for Amarnath Cave. He told that the second batch of sevadars of the committee will leave from Cantt station on June 25 at 7 am under my leadership with Vivek Srivastava. Before this, on June 25, at 7 am, a bike rally, a convoy of 200 bikes will leave my residence in front of Laksa (Kaudia Hospital) near Hotel Jaslok at 7 am. After reaching Amritsar, Punjab, we will leave Chandan Bari on 26th after loading food items in trucks from there.
