Kanpur Violence: Three more FIRs registered against Mukhtar for funding Master Mind

Kanpur, June 24 (H.S.). The troubles of Mukhtar Baba, the owner of Baba Biryani House, who were sent to jail on charges of funding the mastermind of Kanpur violence, Hayat Zafar Hashmi, are increasing. On the complaint of three complainants, the police have registered three more FIRs against him. In this, 26 people including Mukhtar and his family have been made accused, including a Pakistani national. It is alleged that Mukhtar illegally occupied the temple land through coercion and then in connivance got the land in the name of his family members.

Tightening the noose has started on Mukhtar Baba, the owner of Baba Biryani shop, who is trapped in the case of new road ruckus and violence. However, he is in jail for funding the master mind of Kanpur violence. On the complaint of three complainants, the police have registered an FIR against 26 people including Mukhtar, out of which three are unknown. It is alleged that the Baba Biryani Hotel was built by illegally occupying the land, erasing the existence of two temples. Two cases have been registered in Bajaria and one case in Chamanganj police station. In such a situation, now the police are preparing to run a bulldozer at Baba Biryani House. However, according to the police, the action on Biryani House is being done due to illegal construction. But it is also being told that it has become clear in the investigation that the Biryani House has been built after demolishing the Ram Janaki temple.

They lodged FIR

Police has registered an FIR on the complaint of Principal Syed Adibul Qadar of Junior High School residing in Bajaria. In Tahrir, he has written, I live at Dr. Berry intersection of Beconganj. As a child, I had seen that there was a Ram Janaki temple in the adjacent house. There were 18 Hindu shops in this temple complex. All of them had fled after the riots of 1931. After this the temple was demolished and Baba Biryani House was erected on it. On Tahrir, the police arrested Mukhtar Baba, Maula Baksh, Asrarul Haque alias Pappu Sunar, Mahfouz Alam, Iltifat Hussain, Mohd. Waqar, Irshad, Ehtishamul, Pakistani national Abid Rehman, Mukhtar’s mother Hazra Begum, Baba Mumtaz Ahmed, brother Mushtaq Ahmed, Shiv Charan Gupta and Mohd. Sami has been made an accused.

According to Ehsanuhak Ansari, who got the second FIR lodged at the Bajaria police station, his father also had a kite shop in the Ramjanki Mandir Trust. When the shops of Hindus were demolished, even his shop was not spared. He too was demolished. On protest, Mukhtar Baba used to get threats from the criminals of D-Two gang. On the complaint of Ehsanuhaq, the police registered a case against Mukhtar Baba, Chuttan, Salauddin, Mobin, Mehboob Alam, Mahmood Umar, and three unknowns named and three unknowns.

Uday Shankar, the plaintiff of the third FIR in Chamanganj police station, has alleged that there was an ancient Shiva temple in Prem Nagar. This ancient Shiva temple is recorded in the records of the Municipal Corporation. Mukhtar Baba got this land registered in the name of his daughter Naaz Ayesha. The investigation of this case has been started by the police of Chamanganj police station.
