Firozpur : A resident of the border village Tendiwala crossed the international border to paint the ward on the border pillar number 189/04 of HKT. A case has been registered against the accused under 3 Passport Act 14 Forgers Act 1946 at Thana Sadar Firozpur as he did not stop despite shouts by BSF personnel and was not returned by Pakistani Rangers.

Giving more information in this regard, ASI Kulwant Singh said that ADJT Gurpreet Singh, Commandant of BSF’s 136 Battalion, told that the accused Hansa Singh son Bal Singh resident Tendiwala who was painting the security fence on the border pillar number 189/04 BOP. HKT. The engaged Hansa Singh reached Pakistan by crossing the barbed wire on 21 September 2022, which the BSSF tried to stop by raising an alarm, which did not stop, and neither was a case registered by the Pakistani Rangers. Further investigation is being done in this regard.
