Income tax action on the locations of SP leaders and close friends in UP continues for the fourth day

Lucknow, August 06 (H.C.). The raids by the Income Tax Department on several locations of former Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Shyam Sundar Yadav and his close associates are continuing on the fourth day i.e. on Saturday. If sources are to be believed, the matter of getting crores of rupees in the raid is coming to the fore. However, the Income Tax Department has not given any information about this action yet. At the same time, the chartered accountant who is looking for income tax is getting his treatment in a hospital in Delhi.

It is noteworthy that in the early hours of Wednesday, the Income Tax Department team started raids at Ghanaram Infrastructure owner Shyam Sundar Yadav, his brother Vishan Singh Yadav and others in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, which is continuing even today. Among those against whom action has been taken is Virendra Rai, a resident of Civil Lines, owner of Basera Builders, which also operates several hotels, schools and malls. Apart from this, raids are going on at the locations of Vijay Saraogi, Dinesh Sethi, Rakesh Baghel, Sanjay Arora, Anand Agarwal, Shiva Soni Builders resident of Jankipuram Colony. Sources said that the Income Tax Department took action at two locations in Lucknow, eight in Jhansi and six in Kanpur.

The Income Tax Department team raided the house of businessman Rakesh Yadav in Navsheel Dham of Kalyanpur, Kanpur. The talk of Rakesh Yadav’s business friendship with Vishan Singh Yadav is coming to the fore. For this reason, action was taken here, which is still going on.

The Income Tax Department is also scrutinizing the accounts of businessmen including those who meet them. Many lockers have been sealed. About three dozen accounts were checked in more than six such private banks. Transaction irregularities were also found in all the accounts. Now many names are coming out in the open in the income tax investigation of several days. The name of Dinesh Sethi, a Chartered Accountant (CA) associated with businessmen, has also surfaced.

When the Income Tax team raided his house as well, it was found that the day this action started, he had gone for a walk in the morning and did not return home. After this, the Income Tax officials talked to the headquarters and started investigation by breaking the locks of CA’s house. At the same time, after several days of search, the team has come to know that CA Sethi is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi. However, what facts have come out about this raiding action, it has not been confirmed by the officials.
