Four people died in Lucknow Agra Expressway road accident, Chief Minister expressed grief
Unnao/Lucknow, 19 June (H.S.). The car and truck collided on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Hasanganj Kotwali area of Unnao district on Sunday morning. Four people in the car died in the accident, while two people were seriously injured.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the loss of life due to road accident on the expressway. Wishing peace to the departed souls, he expressed condolences to the bereaved families. Along with this, the officials of the district administration have been instructed to provide proper treatment to the injured.
The accident took place on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway between five o’clock in the morning. Due to the driver going from Lucknow to Agra, he broke the uncontrollable truck lattice and reached the other side and collided with the speeding car in front. The front part of the car was completely damaged in the collision and four people in it died on the spot, while two people were injured.
The Hasanganj Kotwali police reached the spot and carried out relief rescue work with the team of UPDA and took out the injured and sent them to the hospital. Here, by taking possession of the dead bodies, an attempt was made to identify the dead.
Inspector-in-Charge said that those killed in the road accident have been identified. The deceased include Akhilesh Mishra, who was driving the car, wife Babita Mishra, daughter Priyanshu Mishra and niece Jyoti Mishra. Santosh Mishra and Swaroop are undergoing treatment. All of them are residents of Thana Siwan area of Bihar. The post-mortem of the dead has been done in Lucknow Lok Bandhu Hospital itself.
