Everything will have to be manufactured in the country from self-reliant India: Anandiben Patel

To become a self-reliant India means that our country will have to depend on itself in every field and in which the formula ‘Vocal for Local’ will also have to be put into practice. India will have to manufacture everything in the country itself. The main objectives of this campaign are to improve our industries from a self-reliant India and to provide employment for the youth and adequate food for the poor. There is an urgent need for universities to work in this direction. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel said these things at the fourth convocation ceremony of Harcourt Butler Technical University on Thursday.
He appealed to the young generation to work for the upliftment of the weaker and deprived sections of the society keeping in mind the needs of the people, only then we can fulfill the dreams of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Nanaji Deshmukh ‘Gram Uday se India’. Will be able to make Uday come true. The Governor motivated the students and teachers to keep striving for the evaluation of NAAC. He expected the university to come not only in national ranking but also in Asia and world ranking. Further said that this university has implemented the new education policy from the session 2022-23. The most important point of the new education policy is the implementation of multiple entry and exit system, now if a student after studying engineering for three years is not able to study further due to some reason, then he used to get nothing earlier, but now multiple entry And in the exit system, you will get certificate after leaving studies after one year, diploma after two years and degree after completing three-four years of studies.
The Governor presented the Chancellor’s Gold and Silver Medals to Dev Tiwari and Utkarsh Tripathi, students of Paint Technology, respectively. Along with this, the teachers of the university (Prof. RK Shukla Physics Department, Prof. Sunil Kumar Civil Engineering Department, Prof. Narendra Kohli CSE Department) were honored by the Chancellor for their excellent work. On the other hand, 30 students of Primary School, Baiji Ke Bagh, Azad Nagar Kanpur were distributed inspirational books and fruits by the Governor.
