Elementary school children taking astronomical knowledge from foreign astronomer

Bulandshahr, 06 August (H.S.). Now British professors have also started joining the astronomy lab set up in the primary schools of the district. They are giving astronomical information to the children through the zoom app. Along with this, the answers to the questions of the children are also being given by the professor.

The meeting was organized by the Chief Development Officer Abhishek Pandey in collaboration with the British Embassy and the district administration on Saturday. In the Zoom meeting, Professor Karel Mandel of the University of Bath, for one and a half to two hours, gave information about astronomical science to the students of primary schools from class one to class 08.

He told about galaxies, nebulae and black holes, how stars move in space. The speed of light, star light, speed of light etc. were given to the school students. At the end of the meeting, many children including school children Sanjana, Aarohi also asked questions to Professor Mandela, to which he answered simply. More than 6500 children participated in this zoom meeting.

Chief Development Officer Abhishek Pandey informed that astronomy labs have been established in 109 schools in the district. Through which these children are getting astronomical information.
