District administration alert on anticipation of opposition to Agneepath scheme, strict monitoring at railway stations

Varanasi, June 19 (H.S.). The district administration is alert in view of the anger among the youth of Purvanchal regarding Agneepath scheme. On Sunday, the police force started patrolling at all the railway stations and roadways of the district since morning. To prevent arson, stone pelting and sabotage by the protesting youth, the officer is also ready in the rural areas. Apart from Cantt station, Banaras station, Varanasi City, officers are also walking with the force at Shivpur, Rajatalab station of rural area.

Regarding the recruitment of Agniveer, the officers also met the youth who were preparing in the ground of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia PG College located at Bhairav ​​Talab and informed them about it. Rajatalab police station in-charge Ramashish Ram encouraged the youth and asked them to prepare peacefully. Mohansarai outpost in-charge Kumar Gaurav Singh, after checking the passengers in the buses going towards Varanasi district, instructed the youth sitting in the buses not to create any disturbance.
