Defense Minister Rajnath, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chanted yoga
Lucknow, 21 June (H.C.). On the International Day of Yoga in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday, Lucknow MP and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave the mantra of ‘Yogashchittavrutnirodha’. He practiced yoga. Singh said that yoga practice is an integral part of his life. Keeping that sequence on International Yoga Day, he wished everyone good health along with doing yoga.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, one of the prominent leaders of Uttar Pradesh, gave the mantra of yoga. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh gave the mantra of bodymadyam khalu dharmasadhanam to the people of the state. In his message, the Chief Minister said that if your body is healthy, then all the means of religion will automatically become successful. But, if the body is not healthy then no means of religion can be successful. The first rule of yoga is related to discipline. Yoga binds us in discipline, leads to health and physical and mental development. Yoga serves to take all of us from a small system to a larger dimension.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the mass yoga program at Raj Bhavan in Lucknow and did yoga with everyone. Many government officials including Governor Anandiben Patel also participated in the yoga program organized at Raj Bhavan.
Former BJP state president and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is also among those wishing International Yoga Day. Maurya did yoga and meditation at Residency Park, Lucknow. He gave the message of yoga to a large number of people present in the park.
BJP’s current state president and Jal Shakti Minister Swatantradev Singh participated in a yoga camp program organized at Gangaganj Stadium in Gosainganj area of Lucknow to make International Yoga Day special. Swatantradev Singh interacted with the people present after practicing yoga. In other districts of the state also, prominent leaders and ministers participated in different programs and gave the message of doing yoga to everyone by doing yoga asanas.
