Children who beg will be benefited by providing rehabilitation

Jhansi, May 13 (H.S.). The meeting of District Child Protection Committee was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar. In which while reviewing the Child Protection Committee and other schemes run by the Women’s Welfare Department, he directed that the welfare schemes being run by the State Government in the interest of women and children should be benefitted.

During the meeting, directions were given by the Chief Justice regarding the rehabilitation of begging children in different areas. Along with this, President District Panchayat Pawan Gautam suggested to give benefits of schemes run by the department to child labor and children with special needs. The meeting was conducted by District Probation Officer Nandlal Singh. In the end the vote of thanks was given by Upendra Prasad Pal, Project Director.

On this occasion Chief Development Officer Shailesh Kumar, Additional District Magistrate Namami Gange Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Divya Chaudhary, Rajeev Sharma Chairman Child Welfare Committee, Project Director Upendra Prasad Pal, District School Inspector Komal Yadav, Circle Officer Manish Chandra Sonkar, District Program Officer Narendra Singh, District Panchayat Raj Officer Jagdish Ram Gautam and other departmental officers and all the employees of District Probation Office, Director Child Line Railway and representatives were present.
