Bajrang Dal workers beaten up in police station, inspector and constable line present
Meerut, August 05 (H.S.). Bajrang Dal workers were beaten up by the police late on Friday night in Gautam Nagar of Brahmapuri police station area. The video of this confrontation is going viral on the internet media. In the video, Inspector Bajrang Dal is thrashing the workers. After this, the Brahmapuri inspector and a constable were put on the line.
Nitin, a resident of Gautam Nagar of Brahmapuri police station area, makes pottery. Three years ago, Kallu son Raju, a resident of Madhavapuram, was owed six thousand rupees for Nitin’s pottery. Nitin was constantly asking Kallu for his dues, but Kallu was constantly avoiding him. When Nitin saw Kallu late on Friday night and asked him for money, Kallu beat him up. The injured Nitin lodged a complaint against Kallu at the Brahmapuri police station. There the police called Kallu to the police station and made a compromise between the two.
On getting information about this, the workers of Bajrang Dal reached the inspector’s office in the police station in favor of Nitin. When Inspector Dinesh Sharma asked them to come out of the office, the workers started creating ruckus. During this, the policemen who arrived beat up the workers fiercely.
As soon as the information was received, a large number of Bajrang Dal workers reached the police station and insisted on apologizing to the policemen who assaulted them. The commotion continued in the police station till midnight. After this, the video of Brahmapuri inspector thrashing Bajrang Dal workers went viral.
In this video, the talk of the inspector kicking the workers is also coming to the fore. Taking cognizance of the matter on Saturday, SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan made the inspector present the line.
