Ireland vs India: Indian cricket team will play three match T20 series against Ireland

Dublin :The Indian cricket team will tour Ireland in August this year for a three-match T20I series. Cricket Ireland gave this information on Friday. Irish cricket fans will be able to enjoy watching India take on the world’s number one T20 side when Asia’s top players return to Malahide this August for a three-match T20 series, Cricket Ireland said.

Hardik Pandya, the new captain of the Indian T20 team, led the team during the two-match series at the same venue last year. With India playing the ODI World Cup on home soil this year, it remains to be seen whether the BCCI will take the risk of playing Hardik in a series that will not mean much in terms of World Cup preparation. However, the series is important to the Ireland Cricket Board as its broadcast revenue will improve their financial position. This series will be from 18 to 23 August.
