Wasim Jaffer praised Harmanpreet Kaur, said – once again a great innings in an important match
Mumbai, 22 September (H.S.). Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has heaped praise on Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur for scoring an unbeaten century against England in the second ODI at Canterbury on Wednesday.
Captain Harmanpreet Kaur’s explosive unbeaten century (143*) and fast bowler Renuka Singh (4/57) helped India beat England by 88 runs in the second ODI of the three-match series at Canterbury in the three-match series. Took an unbeatable lead of 2-0.

Let us tell you that this is Harmanpreet Kaur’s fifth ODI century and with this century she became the highest century-scorer in ODIs after Smriti Mandhana (5) and former batsman Mithali Raj (7). Harmanpreet’s best ODI performance was against Australia in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2017, where she scored an unbeaten 171 in 115 balls with 20 fours and seven sixes.
Talking about the match, in this match, the Indian team, batting first, scored 333 runs for 5 wickets in 50 overs, in response, the England team was reduced to 245 runs in 44.2 overs.
